Ok, I’m just congratulating myself here. But I’m one month in and just did a 48 hour fast. It went surprisingly well. A little hungry the first day and then very comfortable the second. I usually do OMAD easily but was told to “mix it up”. So there it is. #ExcitingKeto

my experiance is when the fast goes well it means your digestive track and gut microbes are healthy. And even your prefasting diet is optimal.

I fasted for 48 hours. I was starving by 6 o’clock. I ended up at a party and maybe I would’ve been able to go longer but I was too hungry. I’ve been working my gut microbio him using Restore. I think my keto diet is spot on and yet I’m still hungry at the end of 48 hours and it’s hard to go longer. I’m not super heavy anymore. I am within the top range of normal so maybe I just don’t have enough fat to fast well. I broke my fast with a lot of cheese and meat and nuts. My eczema is coming back with a vengeance. Could be the dairy???

I could sware if you have healthy microbes and no SIBO or IBS your fasting should be easy.
what is your situation with coffee?
Do you drink coffee during this 48 hours?
For me it does make a differance?
But I do not know why?
I think coffee suppress the bile and the bile kills the bad bacteria and normalize the medium acidity of the small intestine .
some people maybe laughing at my hypothesis but you are not hungry your bugs are the ones who are hungry.
try just 2 days without coffee.
we may not have scientific prove for why things work or do not work. But at least we know they work or do not work and that is good enough.
