Well, depends on where I am in my cycle. Certain times of the month result in better losses. I tend to lose 1.5-2lbs a day, unless I start right before my period, like a dummy. Then it’s like 1lb/day.
Also, I’m still learning how to properly refeed and not eat too much. My last 2 week fast I gained back probably 75% of the weight. That will NOT happen this time.
I love the weight loss, but I’m truly more concerned with autophagy at this point. My body is pretty damaged. I had a job in 2005 that was very physically demanding. I was in the best shape of my life. Now, I can’t even pick up a 35# bag of dogfood. Until after a year of keto I used to hobble around like I was 100 years old. I can walk better now, but I’m still weak as a kitten with no energy.
I’ve done a lot of research about mitochondria and ATP, etc, and I feel like my mitochondria must be damaged af. I’m hoping autophagy will help. I always blamed my lack of energy on being obese, but I’ve lost almost 70lbs and have seen zero increase in energy.
