Thanks for the heads up on sea salt. The salt that I use is Morton Iodized Sea Salt. i use 0.5 teaspoon daily plus 2.0 teaspoon of Wellsley Farms Himalayan Pink Salt. My reasoning for the Morton is to get a little bit of iodine each day.

The link above is to the elemental analysis is Himalayan salt. I have avoided it.mostly because of the lead at .10 ppm.

There is no established “safe” amounts of lead in food as evidenced in the FDA link below but they requir bottled drinking water must be kept at 5ppb.

The last link is from an outfit called “real salt”. They are in utah, If their analysis can be believed, their salt has no lead or arsenic.
