What do people use for immersion blenders? I just put MCT oil, Coconut Oil, Butter, HWC in my coffee or tea. I’m thinking it would be much better with some blending going on.

I bought mason jars when I was drinking BPC’s. Add ingredients and shake. Emulsified well, and it was a tiny morning workout.
I have an immersion blender I’ve never used.
I use one of these to blend in coconut oil or HWC into my coffees they are inexpensive and much easier to use than blender or a regular sized immersion blender. I use my immersion blender for making mayo and other goodies:

Mayo, Hollandaise sauce, gravy, butter chicken sauce, cream soups, salad dressings
I have one, and like a lot of other commenters have said, it’s great for blending coffee.
I also use it for scrambling eggs, I have chopped flaked coconut for fat bombs ( that one took some work!) chopped pecans and walnuts. The stick blender works well with most any liquid…
eople often use immersion blenders (also called hand blenders) for exactly that purpose—mixing ingredients like MCT oil, coconut oil, butter, and heavy whipping cream (HWC) into coffee or tea to create a smooth, frothy drink. Blending helps emulsify the fats and gives the drink a creamy texture, similar to a latte. It’s a great way to improve consistency and flavor compared to just stirring. Just make sure to blend in a deep enough container to avoid splashing!
We had an immersion blender for a while, and it broke. We got an immersion blender recommended by wire cutter, and while the blender is great, the blending part is too large. You can’t put it in much of anything. That’s a bummer.
If you know what you want to put the blender in, take a measurement of it, then go see the blenders if you can. Or at least ensure the blender you’re buying fits.
I think that’s what we call a stick bender in the UK … pre carnivore I used it a lot for sauces
Both of the ones I bought came with a large cup - the sort of thing you’d get a milkshake in, only plastic, not metal. Blender slightly too large for regular cups, yes.
My stick blender is good for most of my mugs and containers I use to make drinks I saw bigger ones but they are typically small enough. I use mine almost daily, to make egg milks or milk from milk powder. I can’t find any other use for it but it’s fine, it’s well used
When I have tried coffee with butter, I used it but the result wasn’t good enough, I prefer cream or milk in my coffee (with some egg, potentially). I make a milky/creamy egg milk and use it for all my coffees in the next 1-2 days, it’s nice. But if I manage to quit coffee (it only has negatives, no benefits at all at this point), I will keep drinking nice egg milks just with more yolk. And probably not every day… Oh I use the blender for my rare golden milk too (always savory) but that is close to egg milk (I put eggs into nearly everything, usually into golden milk as well though it doesn’t need it so not always. but I like to add protein to things and eggs are tasty. well the ones I buy are).
I suppose a tiny milkshake/smoothie can use a stick blender too but as I basically never use my big blender otherwise, my few such drinks per year are made in the big one. It’s nice to have more anyway as the big blender is much more work to clean. Not too much but the stick blender is almost just a mere rinse! (I use a sponge when it’s too fatty, still half a minute or so!) I love when cleaning is minimal.
True, though I’ve stopped worrying about that. Infact some things (like stainless steel) respond well to some fat not being removed! … OK so I’m a slut
Golden milk is a drink with turmeric, ginger and milk, maybe others, I don’t remember, I have a mix for it and barely ever use it but it’s super delicious
Egg milk is egg, fat, water mixed together - and whatever else one wants to put into it, I use some dairy, cream, milk or milk powder. And spices. Sometimes I add some tomato puree and it’s my very good tomato soup.
It wasn’t my problem as my vegetarian high-carb/low-carb/keto was just as fatty (or fattier) but with way more added fat. Now almost all the fat comes from the meat I eat. And dairy but it’s usually the meat that grease my plates. Even the lean ones like green ham or pork loin.
It’s fine, greasy plates and bowls are easy to clean, the ZILLION big and small fruit jars, I don’t like those. But there are many every week… Oh well. At least my hand fits the big ones. Just because it’s not fatty, it can dirty the glass jar and it’s transparent… Until it meets our super hard water but I don’t bother that much, I won’t even wipe it clean… It’s not THAT bad, that’s the water jug if I don’t look at it for weeks and forget to clean with vinegar. And the taps. Those are hopeless.
I stop here before I get carried away even more. The forum isn’t very active and it’s the bigger life of my social life. I just can’t resist to chat a bit.
