I have a regular blender (somewhere), haven’t touched it since we moved here three years ago. I use my immersion blender for everything I can’t do with a hand mixer or food processor. Can’t beat it for pureeing anything (like hot soups in the pot on the stove, ditto mashed potatoes), smoothies or mayonnaise. Cleanup is a breeze and it takes up no space. Excellent multi-tasker!
