How to settle nausea?

(Ellen) #1

I threw up this morning and am still feeling fairly nauseated, normally I’d go for a couple of slices of dry bread to settle it down a bit, are there any keto friendly options?

Fasting ?
Gravol is carb free.

Thanks, am still fasting but might try some. Although am thinking that I may need to check BP with Dr as got a few other signs that it might be getting low, which would be lovely as I could cut back on meds.

Last time I had that I put slices of ginger in hot water & drank it like tea.

Thanks Liz, I might try that when I get home.

or maybe even put the ginger through the garlic press ?
Good idea. I wont need to buy gravol ginger again.

The recovery room I work in has this great stuff called quease ease. This is made of several aromatherapy oils in an inhaler/cup lined with a wick that works amazingly. You simply put it under your nose and breath. I think you can find it on amazon or make it yourself. It consists of ginger, spearmint, peppermint and lavender essential oils.
