How does this day of eating look?

Coffee with HWC. Breakfast tons of bacon and a half avocado. Lunch shrimp swimming in butter and celery and peanut butter. Dinner buttered pork and pickles. Any thoughts? Still at 3MAD

Tell me about the peanut butter?
I avoid it, esp the store bought skip jiffy peter pan stuff.
If you are hitting your macros and are not hungry I would say its good.

The PB is Laura Scudders natural with nothing added - just one tablespoon. I am not yet fat adapted, so am hungry enough to eat three times a day, and have the extra fat the PB provides.

Eating three times a day is fine, IF sort of comes on naturally and I took it on that way. I would try and eat more in the morning/lunch that really seemed to work for me. I was second shift at the time I started and I ate really big breakfast and lunch, dinner was pre made so I just did the math for the rest of the day. If I was still hungry when I got home I would eat some fat, mainly butter or guacamole.

Starting week eight on Wednesday. Hunger just hasn’t quit. But I have some weird issues like it’s not just hunger. I get growls, rumbles and gas pains about four hours after I eat and then I have to eat. Doctor can’t find anything wrong. Maybe I’m really not eating enough.

4 hours is typical of the amount of time to finish digestion, might be you need more. Age can be a factor in length and quality of digestion. Acid levels tend to go down in the gut as we age, that might also be a factor. This is why the protein levels go up as we age, we cannot actually digest it as well. Things like lemons and ACV may help, someone will probably chime in about probiotatics as well.

But you must have seen my whine posts about IBS D? At forty I could do carnivore for months at a time. Now I am 60. My problem on Keto is that I am lacking, ahem, bulk. Lost 12 pounds, which is great. Need to lower trigs. But need to tweak diet so everything is not running right through me. Doctor can’t find a problem.

Relax! So why is everyone else suffering constipation? I still may be undereating. I note many faster get D when they refeed. But trust me I am not giving up.

I suffered from that at first. If you get enough fat, it is less often but when it comes out, it comes out :wink:

What does eating veggies do to you, make it worse. If not try adding more fibre into your diet, spinach, kale etc. gradually, might help bulk things up?

22-26 minutes after breaking a fast typically D only once in about a dozen fasts now has it not been.
48-59 minutes after my morning meal if I ate the night before. Otherwise 7:30 am every other day.

Only had constipation once really bad and at that time I had a lot of chicken, and zero veggies.
