I am starting my first extended water fast today for 21 days. I’ve completed 16 hours to 24 hour fasts a number of times, and wanted to start this prolonged one. If I use a pinch of pink salt and a tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar a day, diluted by a 1.5 liter bottle of water, will that negate the water fast benefits? I want to make sure my electrolytes and potassium aren’t in the toilet and cause problems. Thanks.
Sounds about right. Up the salt if you start feeling fatigued or lightheaded.
i almost got to a 48hr fast today but got to lightheaded so ended at 46hrs had to eat something, is that just a low salt thing?
I call that the day 2 mental barrier.

yeah, i will try again, maybe for me i need to cut down on coffee on day two. i got to jittery and light headed.
