Hey all. New to the forum

Hi all,

Been on Keto now since 27th Dec. Wasn’t the best time to start but getting through Christmas and new year after a break up I needed something to concentrate on.

So far 1 stone down from 17stone 6, looking to get to 15.5 stone. Getting back to the gym has helped a lot.

Starting to get a little board of the food at present, but always looking for new recipes to keep me engaged.

I don’t mind batch making of meals, but I do tend to stick to the basics. Fish, chicken burgers etc… Bacon has been ok, but since starting have gone off it a little.

Fallen off the wagon once in that time and destroyed a family size bar of fruit and nut and a few Pepsi max lol.

Still onwards and upwards.

Looking forward to learning from this forum.

Scott.

I thought the food was going to be boring. When I started I was “I can’t eat mexican” “I can’t go out to eat” etc. I have been able to find a keto friendly choice everywhere I go. Stay strong and for Gods sake leave the Pepsi’s alone!

Hello, welcome . There are lots of yummy recipes, just takes some research. I was missing pizza the other day.

I never enjoyed the crust only the cheese and toppings. So I made chicken pepperoni pizza the other night. Super good and it cured my cravings to stay on track. You will find lots of good info here, I hope you enjoy your stay.

Welcome, Scott! We’re glad to have you, and I think you’ll love it here

Welcome! Congrats on your progression. What were your vices prior to starting keto? I’m 2 months in and found that its really easy to substitue my favorite foods for keto friendly recipes so I don’t feel deprived. Keto cookbooks have become my new best friend.

Welcome to the club! I’m only a week in, and I try to spend at least 30 minutes a day reading here. It’s a wonderful source of information, and I’m enjoying the process. Get online and look for recipes that you may like and give them a try, and try something you thought you’d never like you might be surprised! Keep up the great work!

Welcome but you stoned Brits put a lot of pounds on us Yanks. Sending me back to googling weight equivalents … just when I finally got it down to multiplying 2.2kg everything.

But the concepts are the same, again welcome aboard.

By the way, just dropping below 13.5 stones today.

Yanks weigh in pounds
Brits pay in pounds
But we all get stoned

Man… what I use to eat? Lots of everything.

Start the day with a large bowl of porridge or rolled oats with blueberriesand strawberries

Usually a BLT or some sort of chicken sandwich for lunch, a can of Pepsi max, pack of crisps, chocolate bar.

Evening meal what ever it was Wouk have tomato ketchup on it. Usually with chips or a baked potato.

Chocolate bar

4-8 cups of tea with sugar, usually accompanied by lots of chocolate biscuits or short bread. I also have a very sweet tooth for candy and would generally go to Tesco and get a huge pic and mix.

So much badness :joy::joy::joy:

Hey. My name is John. I recently started practicing keto. I will be glad to communicate and gain experience, so as not to disrupt.
