Help ~ Unsweetened chocolate

#1

I brought this a long tome ago. What do I do with it? Any recipes? Thanks

If it has no sugar? then I would melt it and make Keto Fat Bombs with it =).

Ideas:

melted bar
organic extra virgin coconut oil
cream cheese
optional --Erythritol sweetener

Blend all with a hand mixer and then place in silicone molds, put in freezer… when hardened, pop out of the molds, and into an airtight container, you have nice little treats to munch on now =).

You could also add Almond Butter to the mix if you like, or some Peppermint extract if you want it to be Minty.

Melt the chocolate, some coconut oil (or butter), some peanut butter and add the sweetener of your choice. Pour into a mold and refrigerate until solid. Unmold into a ziplock bag and store in the fridge or freezer. Yeah, yummy fat bombs!

You could use the method shown in this YouTube video, substituting some of your baking baking bar for the cocoa powder.

I’ve also seen some Keto brownie recipes that use bakers chocolate.

It’s very easy to melt Lily’s Chocolate Chips or German’s Baking Chocolate in the microwave and make chocolate goodies. You will need to add some sweetener to the yours, since it’s unsweetened.

The last batch, I loaded into a candy mold and got some nice break-apart squares.

You can load them up with any kind of nut or seed you like.

Half and half by volume the chocolate and coconut oil, melted together, then add vanilla and/or peppermint extract, a dash of salt, and chill or freeze. Makes a great fat bomb for those times you just need a little extra

I just eat it (or did before grounding myself). It’s not my favorite unsweetened chocolate, but it does the trick

@PetaMarie likes to lick it  and dip it in a little dish of erythritol with a pinch of salt as I recall, I still plan on trying that one. :cowboy_hat_face:

Oh David, let’s get one thing straight. It’s a little dish of Splenda (sucralose) because erythritol is my arch intestinal enemy. (And a pinch of salt and a dash of cinnamon).

I will eat baker’s chocolate along with almonds. It’s the closest I will ever come to eating a candy bar again.
