Has anyone used Nuun tabs for electrolytes?

My husband mentioned them to me a week or so ago and it looks a little high in carbs, but I was thinking it would be good to have and just sip on it all day to spread it out.

Here is the nutrition on one of them…

I have a bunch of flavors and have only tried the grape. I’ll stop short of calling it terrible, it’s different to say the least. It’s odd because it’s slightly carbonated but doesn’t taste like it should be. I bought some Nunn tabs because my electrolyte mix of choice (jigsaw health) only comes in lemon lime at this time.

I used to use them when cycling (in my pre-keto days) but they got pretty expensive so I switched to High 5 Zero.

It doesn’t seem like there’s enough of anything in those to help. An avocado is about 950mg potassium, for example.

Second ingredient is dextrose / isn’t that concerning?

Nunn offers a “reduced sugar” version which I’ve used in the past. Taste wise; I like it compared to the competitors. I generally used one tab per hour while riding my bike.

I used Nuun before keto last summer when I did the Avon 39. I have a bunch leftover and have decided not to use them based both on ingredients and also because for some reason they make me very nauseous unless I use on a full stomach. Which reminds me… I’ve been meaning to ask… do you people supplement salt/electrolytes if you’re not fasting? Anyway, I find an easy mixture of salt and Natural Calm is a perfect blend.

I do. 200 mg magnesium, and 1/4 tsp of Lite Salt in 2 of my 4 water bottles. 3/4 tsp sea salt in my morning bone broth.
