Hamburger Pepper Avocado Cheesy Skillet

Hamburger, pepper, avocado cheesy skillet

Sauté hamburger and desired seasoning
Add green pepper, onion, celery and garlic
Add a splash of cream
Sauté down the liquid
Fold in greens
Melt in Havarti cheese
Top with chopped avocado
Top with mozerella cheese
Conv Bake at 400 for 12 minutes.

I need to remember to do this more often (put my cast iron skillet in the oven for baking)! Really adds versatility. Thanks for sharing, it looks great!

This was so good! I could only eat half even though it was my only meal today. It’s two days in a row for 20:4 IF. I’ve done 16:8 for a long time but this has been a step up. I feel my first extended fast bubbling up in the coming weeks!

Yes, I’m 16:8. I typically eat 2 meals but some days one due to work busyness. I can sense myself moving towards the 20:4 and figure I’ll naturally flip between the two eating windows based on convenience. The extended fasts are in my future plans but I’m letting it come when it feels right. I love making dishes like this as they typically result in leftovers, I love the efficiency of it. Look forward to hearing how things go for you in the future as it seems we might be on similar timelines with this newish way of eating.
