Four questions

(Daisy) #21
  1. No, I don’t eat as much fat now that I’m fat adapted.
  2. I don’t drink coffee, therefore I don’t drink bpc.
  3. No, I don’t usually have trouble meeting protein
  4. No, I’ve never tested ketones

(Bacon is a many-splendoured thing) #22
  1. I stop eating when I stop being hungry, so I never get sick of fat.

  2. Never tried Bulletproof coffee.

  3. Why would I use protein powder when I can eat meat?

  4. No need. My carb intake is way low, and I’m not dead; therefore my liver is making ketones, and my muscles are burning fat.

(Patricia) #23
  1. No, I don’t get tired of eating so much fat, although sometimes it’s difficult to get enough without getting too much protein or carbs.
  2. Yes, and I don’t care for it.
  3. Not really. I do eat protein snack chips that are low in net carbs.
  4. No, I don’t. I saw 2 people reviewing the meters, and their results were all over the place even though they tested several times in a row. I wonder if they are all that accurate.

(Laurie) #24
  1. No. I don’t eat “so much fat.”
  2. I’ve tried it, but meh.
  3. I was using it, but it seems to be disapproved of here. I gave it away. The kind I bought (Kaizen vanilla, at Costco) was pretty tasty, sweetened with stevia, and free of junk/chemicals. It was actually a cheaper way of getting protein than meat, eggs, etc.
  4. No. I used the pee strips for a while. No finger pricking for me, thanks.

1 not if the fat is attached to my steak or bacon
2 only a little HWC and light on the sweetener in my coffee
3 I have some collagen but have only used one tablespoon so far. Not sure yet on continuing it
4 I have a few pee strips left and won’t buy more, not sure it matters as long as I’m feeling great and losing weight
