Forgive my "newbie" question

First off, I apologize for this “newbie” question, but I have never found an answer. When exactly does your fasting time begin? On your last bite of food or a bit of time after you have eaten, or when you start your last meal? Thanks guys.

Don’t over think it, but I’d go with your last bite of food. Unless you are eating epic 7 course meals, it shouldn’t make much of a difference. :slight_smile:

I go by the time I complete my last meal.

This. I also don’t overthink it. I’m not sure when I finished eating last night but I won’t eat again until noon or 1.

Exactly. I don’t start a fasting timer or anything. Just ballpark it.

I find thinking about it too much makes me think about NOT eating, and then I want to eat. Not because I’m hungry, but because I’m thinking about “how many hours has it been since I ate?”

I have been using the MyFast app on my phone to keep track of my fasting times.
