Flaxseed Everything Crackers

(Robin) #1

I found this recipe on the back of my flaxseed meal. They’re great, easy crackers using just water, flaxseed meal and some spices. My husband calls them peanut butter delivery devices.

I’ve been making something very similar - awesome! I just dump about a cup of flax meal & chia seeds into a 2 cup measuring cup, fill with water, and let it sit overnight in the fridge to gel up. I’ll add whatever other seeds or “decorations” (like sesame seeds, etc) I see in the pantry. Last time, I added roasted garlic mushed up with rosemary & sea salt.
Next day, spread onto a parchment lined pan or dehydrator tray & bake or dry until crispy. Gotta keep it a bit thick, 'cause it shrinks as it dries.
So simple, no measuring or fussiness, so good that my non-Keto family eats them faster than I can get to them.
