Makes sense?

I have been doing keto for 2 months with some mistakes , but Am always hungry . After a lot of research I find that Dr.Berg said eat fat to satiety until feeling full . So am on my fifth day on eating a lot of fat until I feel satisfied , the problem is that I am consuming a lot of fat and a lot of calories to feel full . the positive side that even with this whole fat I feel like am losing inches and very active and concentrated and never think to cheat or overdo on nuts like I normally do (haha) . One other things I feel some discomfort on my stomach after this whole fat I eat but nothing serious , it passes after an hour or two.
Pros
-I do 2 meals per day with no snacks (I could not do it when I keep my fat low)
-My hunger signals and Satiety goes back
-I never felt happier and Stronger than before
-I can now go days without eating
Cons:
-I feel little discomfort after eating a lot of fat
-I am concerned if that will affect my weight loss

Learning to eat to satiety is a process, but one that will usually fix itself. It may feel like you’re eating a lot up front, because it seems like the sky’s the limit, and if you came from a calorie-restricted diet beforehand there may even be some guilt attached to it. But your body is usually better about knowing when to stop eating fat, compared to carbs. You might be able to eat, say, 5000 calories on fat for a couple days, but it’s hard to sustain that long term; whereas 5000 calories of carbs is much easier to sustain, because you rarely ever feel full.

When the satiety signal hits with fat, it hits hard. Just last night I had chicken wings. Out of a large order of 18, I ate about eight and just stopped. This morning I had seven more, and stopped again. I’m still thinking about those last three wings. I just don’t want to eat them, the thought makes me nauseous.

Satiety is pretty self-regulating once you get your signal fixed. Your hunger will come and go.

thank you very much for making things clear to me, But after every meal I feel discomfort in my stomach It is hard to explain it , I do not feel bloated but like my stomach full from inside and I have like a little pain and my stomach beating like my heart , So My only concern if my weight will come down even with this amount of fat since I do IF (4-6h of eating)

If you aren’t used to eating high fat, it can cause some temporary discomfort (essentially as your body figures out what to do with it). It should also self-regulate with time. As far as weight, I would advise to go only by either a tape measure or by how your clothes are fitting. Many things can make a scale go up (water bloat, muscle and bone growth, etc.) but a tape measure is more reliable in determining whether or not you’ve lost fat.

What’s your definition of “a lot” of calories and fat?

Along with fat, protein is a large part of my satiety. Eating fatty meats which have equal grams of fat and protein comes out to 69% of calories from fat and 31% of calories from protein. Ten ounces of ribeye will pacify my hunger faster and longer than if I ate ten ounces of sour cream.

Fat won’t make you fat, but later, eating too much of it might keep you from losing fat. Once fat adaptation has been reached, your body is able to use fat storage if you dial down how much fat you are eating. This usually takes a month or two for most people… sooner for some, longer for others. In the meanwhile, don’t be afraid of fat.

what types of foods are you eating? i too always feel hungry when i’m eating processed foods and things with artificial sugars in them. when i’m loading up on pepperoni and peanut butter, i can easily eat 4 to 5k cals in a day. when i’m filling up on steak and butter, around 2000 calories does me in! nuts and dairy may be messing with your satiety signal as well

I had to do extended fasts starting with 36 hours and going to 60 to 72 hrs to get in touch with my satiety signals. I think reducing insulin helped reduced leptin insensitivity. Leptin signals us we are full.

I still have to eat and then wait. Today I broke a fast at 6 am. Then at lunch time I was like, well I did not bring enough food. But by 1:30 I was like wow so full. Get in touch with timing as well as push for more time without insulin. That is extended fasts.

I had this problem until I cut out cheese and heavy cream
