Fast/Feast Cycle

Hi all! I’m doing a couple day fast right now and plan to try a fast/feast/fast cycle. If you’ve seen my other posts, you know that I’ve been keto for over 3 months and so far, haven’t had any weight loss or loss in inches. So, I’m trying different methods to spur weight loss.

When you’re doing a fast/feast cycle, do you still keep protein to a max of 1.5g per kg of LBM on feast days? Or, do you just feast on keto foods and not worry about protein?

I typically keep my diet about the same on feasting days, maybe throw a little extra fat in. Also eating extra fat leading up to the fast can help. It kickstarts your body into burning Ketones.

Thanks! I’m not going to be tracking over the weekend because I’ll be on vacation and as much as I love data…I’m not bringing a food scale on vacation. :slight_smile: But, I’ll eyeball and be cautious about too much protein.
