Extended fasts and loose motions/bad stomach?

#1

Over the last year and a half I have lose 45 lbs of fat (atleast, because I’ve also gained muscle and the weighing scale doesn’t distinguish). This progress was largely due to following the keto diet and intermittent fasting. I do have cheat days (not cheeseburgers and ice creams, but maybe a sandwich and some rice and fruits etc).

Last week I had an upset stomach because of splurging too much on desserts and carb loading within two days. It was fun but next day predictably I had an upset stomach. Anytime I ate anything I would have to go to the bathroom. I’ve had this experience on Keto as well but it goes away in a couple of days.
This time it has more or less carried on for a week now. I don’t feel tired. I don’t feel dehydrated or sick, in fact I feel great overall. But I just have to go everytime I eat. And I’m eating the healthy stuff as well (mostly fats and proteins and veggies, no carbs). I thought not eating for a day would solve the problem (and also help me lose the last few pounds  ). So I’ve been doing 24-30 hour fasts for almost every day for the last few days. Still, every time I eat, boom! I’ve also been taking electrolyte tablets so that while I’m extended-fasting I maintain my mineral and vitamin balance. Maybe that could be the issue?

Anyone experienced this before and have a way to solve this?

Does Pepto-Bismol work for you?

Pepto Bismol sometimes gives temporary relief and later makes it worse.

I stopped taking all medication, including electrolytes and it seems to have stabilized. I noticed that Apple cider vinegar has given me more positive benefits in this regard.
