Extended fasting and it's effects on sleep

How many here who do extended fasting have considered the effect it has on their sleep patterns?

This podcast blew my mind on how important sleep is and how things like daylight savings time can have huge impacts on us.

Extended fasting was mentioned, and it did not get good reviews from Matthew Walker in regards to sleep disruption.

For those interested, this is a heck of a podcast.

Talks about fasting at 1:05 ish mark

Doing an extended fast definitely reduced my sleep time by a couple of hours. I use a cpap machine for sleep apnoea. The reduced sleep doesnt bother me. I feel ok as long as i get 4+ hours on the cpap machine.
Am on day 25 of an extended fast for weight loss.
