What do you guys think of egg Keto diet…? Any suggestions?
Egg keto
Haven’t tried it. Haven’t really felt the need to. I like eggs and eat them most every day. I don’t think I usually have a half dozen of them but 3 or 4 is not uncommon or unusual.
If it helps you to get on track with your macros, great. If it helps you deal with cravings, great. If it helps you to be able to eat something rather than nothing, great. None of those have really been important enough to me that I felt like I needed to try an egg fast.
For me, I think I’d rather do one meal a day or intermittent fasting of some kind. But that’s just me. I prefer to eat well or not at all. (Dr. Fung would be proud. LOL!)
Good luck. Let us know how it goes if you decide to give it a try.
everything about eggs is positive. It is super food.
The only bit of negative is the omega6 to omega 3 ratio.
If one can correct this ratio by taking fish oil or else eggs should be used in moderation to prevent omega 6 from triggering inflammatory process.
What the chicken eats has an effect on the amount of omega 3 in the eggs it lays.
Just sayin’…
yes
But I expect that there is some kind of range.
I mean no matter what you feed the chicken you can not take the ratio of 14:1 omega 6 to omega 3 very far from this.
Actually, I think you can take it quite a long ways from 14:1. I do know that you can at least triple the omega 3 by manipulating the diet of the bird. I haven’t looked in depth at how much the omega 6 changes with the diet but I suspect it’s not zero.
