EF question, confusion

I’m currently doing my first 24 hr fast, maybe longer depending on how I’m feeling. I’ve seen conflicting advice on how to refeed. I figured I would just eat what I normally would if I weren’t fasting. Am I wrong? Sorry if this is repetitive.

Easing yourself back into it is the best way to avoid stomach issues.

After fasting have a little broth, wait half an hour then resume normal eating.

If you do like I did after my first 24hr fast and gorge yourself on anything and everything, the results won’t be pleasant.

For 24 hours, I don’t do anything special. I just eat what I would normally eat.

When I’ve done 72-92 hours, personally, I may start with a bone broth or chia pudding. Wait a half hour or so and have something sort of fatty like a pâté. Then if all is ok, eat how I would normally eat.

Stay under 20g carb & avoid alcohol and you’re fine.

There is a risk if you suddenly carb up since it can sap potassium - so stay keto and you should be fine.

I was going to stick keto.

I had a mug of bone broth while I was cooking my 72 hour fast breaking meal. The ensuing ribeye and broccoli was the most delicious meal I ever had in my life. I wasn’t even ravenous at the time. It just seemed like my taste buds had never been so alive and aware.
