Blue Violet, anytime a person… any person, puts themselves out there in front of a large audience, their are going to be haters that come out of the wood works.
Many years ago, I had gotten pretty big in the fishing community, and was doing things (catching fish) that a lot of guys had spent their lives trying to catch, and had not succeeded, and they hated me for it ! I remember having a talk with one of my fishing idols (far more successful even than I was) and I told him it really bothered me that some of these people that didn’t even know me, we hating on me. He told me, “When that starts happening, you know you have made it. Nobody every achieves anything spectacular, without having a certain number of haters”.
Sad, but true.

A recent YouTube video with both him & his wife, they were happily sharing that they were in a new “apartment” in Tennessee, I don’t know exactly when they filmed it, but the “house” may have been a really new move for them :pensive:

According to the comments on the newspaper article, they weren’t living there at the time of the fire. They had moved to an apartment in Nashville to be closer to the birthing center.

If they were remodeling, maybe something went wrong during the process? Lots of different companies doing different jobs without any communication between them?

The house that burned was their farm house in the Camden, TN, area. They recently moved to an apt. in Nashville to be closer to Neisha’s birthing center (Baby Berry is due this month).

I’m praying for them. This is really horrible and must be very stressful to them. Wow. What an awful thing to happen. If it is arson, I’m praying they catch the person!!

When a business burns in a fire, the investigation is always done on the owner. Anyone who has had a business establishment that has burned down knows this.

Dr. Berry is pretty smart, no nonsense and logical. Nobody in their right mind (usually) would try to burn down his business AND his domicile, knowing that it casts suspicion on himself first and foremost. Especially if you are an author, and a relatively well known public figure who is probably causing some people to lose their cash cow. It just brings that much more meticulous inspection on your private life.

Insurance companies always err on the side of pessimism during the investigations.
Speculation on arson is moot and silly, with us just being bystanders. We won’t think of anything new that anyone else involved in the investigation hasn’t already thought of.

My thoughts and prayers also go out to him and his loved ones.

Over the past 2 years an extraordinary number of holistic doctors have eirher been nurdered or died under very strange circumstances. Perhaps he has ruffled too many feathers.

It does sound super suspicious. Did you guys see someone on Twitter (I forget his name, but I believe he’s a mostly plant based promoting medical student/resident) made the comment that both of these burning down shows that there just might be a good and just god? What a jackass. He rescinded pretty quickly after Berry stuck a lawyer on him.

The good news is that they had moved to an apartment in Nashville not long before, but still. Much of their stuff was still at the farm in Camden. And this is just weeks before Neisha (his wife) is due to have their baby. Crazy stressful.
