Do you need TP, the ghost wipe

(Vic) #1

So I live in a part of the world that uses Toilet Paper for hygiene.

On ZC I use about 1 small sheet per sitting and 19 out of 20 times its a ghost wipe, perfectly clean.

I was wandering if other carnivores experienced the same?

Are you a mind reader???
This very thing was on my mind this morning for my own ghost wipe. It seems a “clean finish” most, if not all, times. There is certainly less volume too as well as next to no odour.

Very different from pre ZC which would be volumous, offensive and take lots of TP to tidy up. When I went hiking for more than a day, I would apply baby nappy cream to assist with a non stick clean finish to reduce the TP I needed to carry.

I was thinking of a t-shirt slogan, something like " Eat like a carnivore, poop like a ruminant"

(bulkbiker) #3

Have you ever seen the amount of crap that a cow produces?

#4

Carnivore people have alot of threads on poop and I am never shy to talk about poop :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

One of the top good benefits from this eating lifestyle. I go 1 time in the morning and done. Fastest slide out in my world ever and like you, always a clean finish.

Before on plants, omg don’t let me go there! Disgusting.

What comes outta ya shows what went in you was a good food or a nasty one…eating up plants and junk showed me that real fast LOL

#5

no no LOL, their poop is runny and icky. omg you should see the butts on the cows at my friend’s dairy farm. just nasty as heck LOL

we need a different poop slogan HAHA that is wild, a carnivore poop slogan, I love it!

(UsedToBeT2D) #6

Yes…TP use WAY down. One roll lasts 3 months.

#7

and that second benefit is you won’t be competing with the hoarders who buy all the TP at the store, heck ours is now a 2 pack limit and heck shelves are just starting to get wiped out. UGH

We’re all very close here on the Ketogenic forum.

I only did a few weeks but my poop almost immediately changed. For the worse. It’s perfect between carnivore-ish and low-carb, too soft on a carbier diet and too hard on carnivore now (well I cut out coffee too… hopefully there isn’t a connection, I don’t want coffee again), at least in the beginning, I can’t possibly know… I want back my perfect one but it’s close perfect now too and probably will get sorted out even if I do more carnivore.

My poop memory is very bad, I do what I should when I should and forget almost everything. I know I don’t need lots of TP and I have poop at least once every day (never in the morning), no matter my woe. And I never have diarrhea or constipation or other problems, I am basically a healthy one on every woe I am willing to do.

The volume went down but it’s not surprising.

I think I use about as much TP as before and most of it isn’t even for poop. I am a woman, I use it for other purposes too.

Someone on here said it well… Less crap in, less crap out. Catchy, eh? But I also like ghost wipe! (We do talk a lot about poop on here.)

(Tony) #11

I’ve certinally noticed that on keto, haven’t done carnivore long enough yet to tell.
I’ve broken keto with a bowl of pasta before and the morning after it was like cleaning a babies bottom

(JJ) #12

Haha I was thinking more ruminant like the goats I keep. Nice soft pellets, neat finish up, nil odour. Will have to rethink my slogan

(UsedToBeT2D) #13

This is one subject we can all agree upon.

(UsedToBeT2D) #14

My rear end loves keto!

#15

ohhh cool ya got goats…yea the pellets make sense, them big old cow plops didn’t HAHA
We raised Boer goats on the farm, had about 170 for breeding and sales. I never did mind goat poop
What kinda goats do you have?

(JJ) #16

Oh you are a goat person too!
We just have a Saanen and a Toggenburg as pets. I used to have a Welsh pony that I did carriage driving with, so got the goats to keep the grass down once I got out of horses

#17

@JulesyMcJulesface, out of horses, ohmy gosh LOL I was a horse gal for 40 years til I got rid of the last one about 5 years ago…now being older and farming is done we wanna travel. Dairy vs. meat goats, I was so there. I got one Boer goat left, Lollipop the kid named and she is about 15 now, waiting on her demise to put the backhoe into action one last time HAHA

Are ya milking them? I know those are great dairy goats. We so almost did the goat milk biz but the regulations were too much to take on with the farming life we did have.

I am meeting so many lifestyle and farm animal people on this forum, I love it…SB is a farm gal also…and a few more!!

(Kirk Wolak) #18

Okay, I am not quite there.
I do use about 90% less TP than I used to.

  1. I don’t go as often
  2. It’s a lot less “messy” (normally)

Before going Carnivore:

I would see the commercials on toilets and they would put this LITTLE WAD of TP in the bowl as part of the simulation…

I would be like “Hold on there DUDE. Using ONLY that much TP, PLEASE, come over here and wipe me!” LOL!

It’s much better now…

Another reformed horse addict! Well done you on kicking the habit. I still get a bit twitchy being horseless, but I do enjoy not working purely to support my addiction. Do you miss it?
My goats did come from a dairy, but they are wethers, so no awesome goat milk for us. I took pity on them and figured they would make great weed whackers so I got them and bottle raised them. I did train them to carry packsaddles though in case I wanted to go hiking with them, but they are too annoying to want to do that as they just want to be IN the tent with me.

LOL you got real pets there  and yea they are just like dogs aren’t they? you had me laughing on that. Nice ya took pity on them cause now I bet the live the best darn goat life ever.

yea being horseless after 40 years of horses is tough! but we want to travel so much and we whittled down to no livestock…but yea many days I wake and think, get the trailer ready, lets go riding but that time is now gone for me. With my barns and pasture I am always thinking go buy a horse, why not, then I plan a trip and think, ahhh, that is why not LOL
