Diagnosis officially no longer diabetic!

Wearing appropriate shirt for unexpected news today. Celebrated with a grande heavy cream latte, 2 extra shots.
Yes. I kick ASS. For those of you who don’t know me, my A1c used to be 12, my trigs 1200, with hypertension and nueropathy.
Now everything is normal.
Hear my story on episode 21 of the 2KetoDudes podcast or read it on the Diet Doctor website or Dr. Fung’s blog. Ketogenic going on four years, 54 years old. You can do this too.

You ROCK!!! What an inspiration :sunny:

That’s great, Brenda. :slightly_smiling_face: And good for your doctor for being responsive and not hidebound.

(Jim Russell) #4

You are super, man.

(Susan) #5

Brenda that’s so exciting, happy for you! Bet your doctor is happy too. Gives me hope for next year, my goal is to be down to 125-130 or so…and I’ll turn 54 in March (doesn’t seem so old now).

Brenda,

Please reflect on how reckless this reversal of yours really is. Have you given one thought to the pharma rep who won’t be getting a commission on the drugs you’ll never buy? Have you shed a tear for the shareholders whose fourth quarter earnings will diminish as more people follow your example? Have you taken one brief second to consider how much you can help the world economy simply by staying quiet?

No–not you. You are selfishly improving your own health while endangering the professional credibility of dietitians, nutritionists, and every non-profit spokesperson who mindlessly repeats whatever the American Heart Association tells them to say.

Shame on you.

Also, congratulations.

LOL

That has to be the best post in a while bwahahaha. Cop that big pharma!

And Brenda, you AYERS ROCK!
