Dessert needed for my birthday!

#1

I want to “cheat” for my birthday. And by cheat…I mean a yummy keto dessert! I’ve cut out artificial sweeteners and snacks since starting in January. But figured an approved keto dessert this one day shouldn’t be too harmful. Anyone have any amazing recipes?? Thanks in advance!

You’ll probably get more useful responses with a clearer subject. I’ll move it to the recipes section.

Thanks! I changed it.

I recommend a yummy keto cheesecake! You can find lots of recipes on this forum and here’s another good one. I tweak it by adding cinnamon to the crust

I made this for valentine’s day and then froze 3/4 of it to feed off of later and it was really good! I left out the lemon zest and added 3 tablespoons of sugar free chocolate chips instead.

I liked that it didn’t have a crust so even fewer carbs!

The best keto treat that I’ve made.

I made it twice, both times with whipped cream and berries instead of frosting. I also substituted butter for the coconut oil both times. Yummy, super fast and easy😋

I don’t consider your choice cheating or even off plan eating. Enjoy your birthday guilt free. Happy Birthday :balloon::gift::birthday::sunglasses:

I was requested to post the recipe I made for my Wife, so here’s both I have. One for the Mini-Cheese Cake, and the other is for the full size…

Here’s the information for the Mini-Chocolate Cheese Cake (4") I made for the wife recently.

Crust:

  • 1/2 Cup Almond Flour
  • 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Erythritol
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter (melted)

Filling

  • 4oz. Cream Cheese
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 2 Tablespoons Sour Cream (Or optional, HWC instead)
  • 1 Tablespoon Cocoa Powder
  • 1/3 Cup Erythritol (Powdered)
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Cream of Tartar

Note: Since a certain someone doesn’t like Sour Cream… I didn’t put it in hers. But I personally like Sour Cream in my Cheese Cakes, so would be adding it to mine. So I showed it above, but it’s optional. Actually filled the pan just right, no left-over batter. Because I only used 4oz. Cream Cheese, not 8oz.

These are great! Would it be considered cheating if I made them all and ate them for every meal :joy::joy:

For me personally, I don’t like to even consider it cheating, but simply a choice. … If it’s Keto-Friendly, it’s better than what most who switch over to this WOE/WOL was eating. But yes, with the Keto-Treats, it is best to limit how often they are consumed, since it can affect weight loss, and it keeps the sweet-tooth around more often as well. … Good luck with it all, hope ya post some pics later.
