Hi - if I wanted to make cream cheese into a topping/frosting, do I have to melt it first over heat?? Would I need to add flavorings to it while it’s being heated?
(i know my questions are evidence that I have no fundamental cooking skills - I readily admit that I do not).
sit for a while (1 hour?) at your counter. When it has softened to room temperature, you add the flavouring and beat it with the hand mixer or whatever tool your using to fluff it up.
