ok so i get mac’s pork rnds basically because they are readily available and popular. However I recently got a bad of cracklins which are smaller and crunchier and have some sort of filling. what is filling?
tasty but afraid i may crack a tooth on some of these cracklins as some are pretty hard !!!

Its fat. Cracklings have more of the fat tissue. I use cracklings for snacking and pork rinds for Zorn Waffles.

Cracklins’ take me back to my childhood (northern girl from a southern family) but I’m afraid I’d chip a tooth if I ate them now…lol.

I, too, picked up Macs cracklin’s this week. I can’t get past the texture as I’ve only eaten rinds and the fat was off putting to me. I’ve had British cracklin’s (from a co-worker from the UK). I couldn’t get past the texture of those either.
