I bought the perfect keto base exogenous ketones (vanilla) and now I’m not sure when and how to use it because my urine tests says I have high ketone levels. Would I lose more weight adding the ketone base to my diet? Do you only use them when you had a cheat day?
Also, how do you use them? I tried to mix a little in unsweetened almond milk and it wasn’t great. Can I bake with them or will that degrade the ketones? Thanks in advance!
Confused about ketones
Use them when your energy levels need a kick in the backside. When you’re just run down, pre-workout whenever you need an energy boost. Exodenous ketones typically taste like crap regardless of flavor, I wouldn’t bake with them. Just keep in mind they give you energy and can make you feel awesome, as well as beat keto flu when starting out, but the higher ketone levels they give you don’t make you loose weight any faster, not directly.
Lipolysis causes ketosis, ketosis will not cause lipolysis. They’re merely expensive calories, marketed on a basis of pseudo science. They will not cause you to burn body fat. If you were not aware of these things and were expecting them, I suggest you return’em.

You already bought them you might as well use them. I’m not planning on buying any, but if I had some I’d use them. I’m not getting that super great mental clarity and energy that others seem to get. Maybe I’m not fat adapted yet, but mct oil just isn’t cutting it for me (as an energy booster).
