Chuck roast

I cooked a chuck roast for about 8 hours in bone broth, then shredded it. Heated it up in about 1 oz of bacon grease and 4 oz oh diced broccoli… she wasn’t interested…

WHO wasn’t interested? I’ll be right over! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

That looks really good. Is chuck roast the same as pot roast??

(Hoby Bradfield) #4

Yes, it is…

Lol… specificity was indicated… and I swung and missed! The wife was not the least bit interested… something about too much fat… I laughed and replied that there was no such animal…

Chuck Roast is my go to meat for ground beef, burgers, pot roast and more. We get chuck roast at Wegmans and it has a lot of fat. Yummy.

I’m on 18/6 IF and waiting till 11 or 12 this morning to make a ground beef omelet for my first meal today. Darn, now I’m hungry.

Chuck roast is one of my favorites for the versatility. It Sous vides to steak like texture, it smokes to pull, it braises and instapots to succulent wonder with all manner of flavor.

Give her 2 books - Eat Rich Live Long (Ivor Cummins) , & Lies My Doctor Told Me (Dr Ken D Berry).

I have Dr. Berry’s book, which she has read… Ivor Cummin’s book is on my wish list…
