For all of you saying you can’t find cashew butter: if you have a food processor and cashews, you have cashew butter in about 3 minutes

To make cashew butter, do you use the roasted and lightly salted cashews that you can buy at big mart?
And can you just use cocoa powder instead of cacao? I realize cacao has more antioxidants, but would the taste be about the same?

Yeah, I used the roasted and salted huge thing I bought from Sams club. It made it perfect. With my almonds, I usually use unsalted and salt the butter myself, but I’ve used salted cashews and peanuts and they’ve been perfect!

I’ve never made these bars, but I’ve done enough baking to know the cocoa would work fine.
