Chips and Salsa

What is a good low carb alternative to chips and salsa?

I can’t seem to say, “no.”

:worried:

Pork rinds with guacamole is pretty good :avocado:

A lot of forum members love Pork Rinds, and they dip them in a home made salsa with no sugar, or other dips they make with no sugar =).

Definitely, when I first started Keto one of my favorites was avocado mashed with dill dip mix (like a guacamole dip) or low carb dry ranch mix is really good too…I would have mixed that awesome tomatillo avocado salsa stuff in the jar with sour cream too if I hadn’t developed an allergy to tomatillos similar to my tomato reaction :weary:

Bacon and eggs.

Someone said pork scratchings with melted camembert or brie!

I know people use fathead dough to make nachos -

You can make your own nacho chips out of low carb tortillas. Just bake them until they’re crispy.

These come from Aldi and it’s diffcult for me to stop eating them until the entire bag is gone… which is why I limit myself to 1-2 bags per week.

Pork Rinds and chip dip.Walmart has a spinach dip that’s pretty good.

Aldi over here don’t seem to stock anything like that. But I was there today for a small midweek shop and grabbed gorgonzola, blue stilton and washed rind cheese, and sour and plain cream.
We have another similar sized supermarket that had 4 or 5 different pork crackles to choose from
ps: all the above would be good alternatives to chips and salsa.

I just remembered cheese chips. I gave up cheese a few weeks ago because I determined it was causing the occasional zit I was getting, but I quite enjoyed how tasty these were and how easy they are to make. You can make them in the microwave or bake them in oven.
