Can IF jumpstart your weight loss?

I’ve just started again after my pregnancy. It’s been almost 4 weeks. I’ve always done basically 16/8 or basically only eating once a day at night (since I work nights). I’ve tried switching it up and tried to eat regularly on some days and then eat my one meal around 6-7pm other days just to see if that’ll help start things up. Nothing has happened at all. I’ve been exercising as well.

If I do like a 24 hr fast, eat 2 days, 24 hr fast, eat 2 days etc, do you think that could possibly jump start my weight loss? I feel like my body doesn’t react to keto anymore. The first time I did it everything was great. Now it’s like I’m not doing anything. I’m not loosing weight and the scale actually says I’ve gained more body fat and my BMI went up.

First off, those scales are not really reliable when it comes to measuring body fat. I don’t trust them

I know some people swear by alternate day eating. It must work for most.

I found that when I would really stall a fast for 48-72 hours would jump start it again. Sometimes it just happens anyway because I am not hungry…sometimes I prepare for a fast and then do it. But…so far…it has never failed me.
