Richard and Carl were discussing something along these lines during their podcast - I am sorry but I can’t remember when (perhaps about a year along?), but I recall Carl saying he found the best way to avoid an interruption in weight loss was to eat during the day, wait 4-5 hours, then have his drinks, with no more food after that. That way his body could concentrate on processing the alcohol, without other interference.
