Butter makes me very thirsty

(Omar) #1

I am trying to increase my fat intake.

every time I make an attempt to increase fat intake such as drinking coffee with butter, I get unbearably thirsty.

the salt helps but my body does not like the extra salt.

I am still trying to find ways to overcome this issue.

Try Unsalted butter. I can’t do salted anymore, even though I add lots of salt to most of the stuff I use butter on.

As far as thirst… you could melt the butter and drink it. Two birds with one stone

I thought the coffee was the diuretic, not the butter.

To test, just eat butter alone and see what happens. Preferably do it in front of other people and film their reactions. Love a ‘butter reaction money shot’!

I get that from taking cream shots

… I just realized how bad that sounds

I always drink coffee. I do not get this horrible thirst.

Only when I add butter I get this type of thirst.

in the 2 keto dudes podcast one of the interviews that coffee flush out the salt . when I heard that I upped the salt and it helped reducing the thirst but worsen my tinnitus and headache.
