Butter in Coffee and drinks

Right so while I created a thread a few weeks ago about mostly using Heavy Cream as your fat source I have like come to notice again that its nice imo to have butter or similar type of fat in *coffee (and or other drinks). Have never honestly been found of adding Heavy Cream to drinks, like coffee (don’t very much like the taste of that).

Now It’s also funny because I have not seen or heard much buzz about about putting butter (or any) ohter type of fat like ( MCT or coconut oil) in coffee during the last few years so I like wounder if people here on this forum still add fat to drinks ?

Do we know why there is basically no noise about , or buzz about adding or making was known as keto or bulletproof coffee?

Its also interesting because I always get and have like always got so strange looks when I have put butter to my *coffee (or any ohter drink) . Not sure if it is just a cultural thing here where I live or if it’s something more universal. Now I still try (add butter to my coffee (but try to somewhat *hide it when with other people). Not sure if it is the same for you .

I personally never liked butter in my coffee (I just snack on butter, thank you very much  ) but I do like cream in it.
My fat source is my protein source and I try to eat as lean as I can (and a bit leaner than that as it’s still too much fat for me) so these are just joy additions.
IMO, everyone should add whatever they please as long as it works for them. I definitely never would hide it from others, rather the contrary  Let’s shock the sensitive ones! But it’s totally my business, if it’s strange for someone, it’s their problem, not mine.

It’s a bit interesting to me that some people need plain fat for a fat source even for a not insanely high fat percentage. I can do 90% fat just using pork  (Well I can’t as that’s just too boring. I actually tend to have 10g butter on my fat fast days as I do love butter and all my other items are less fatty.)
65-70% means nicely fatty protein sources to me and not much else but that’s probably already overeating to me.
But we all are different, that makes life interesting.

I add 1 T heavy cream and 1 T unsalted butter to my morning coffee. I have done this for several years.
