OMG!!! I have made my first cup of “Butter Coffee” and I love it. 2tbls unsalted grass fed butter, 1 tbls of coconut oil, dark roast coffee, blend of 45 seconds. It is terrific!!! Can anyone else tell me how to improve!!

You’re right, it’s a heavenly treat. I drink this exactly, with a sweet & low, sometimes also a 90% dark choc square… Enjoy!

A few sprinkles of cinnamon and/or cocoa powder. Heavy whipping cream

Whiskey??? I don’t know, sounds like you already nailed it

Lately I’ve been making my coffee with pumpkin pie spice mixed in. In my opinion MCT oil is way better than pure coconut oil. It blends right into the coffee. No taste or oily coffee

I tried a frappe recipe that had coconut oil
It clumped badly.

Coconut oil turns solid when it gets cold and melts hot.

  • MCT oil instead of coconut oil (which is made from MCT oil but is limited to those medium chain trigs that, to my understanding, don’t get stored as fat)
  • 1-2TBS of heavy whipping cream
  • Sweeten with a few drops of “Sweet Drops” Vanilla Crème. (Made from Stevia and a bottle will last you months.)

Yikes!! That’s not a side effect I would have anticipated. Guess it’s one I’m gonna have to face one of these days…

Kerry gold unsalted butter, MCT oil, good shot of espresso and some hot water. Blend 15 seconds slow to higher. Add to prewarmed thermos
