Buffalo chicken wing dip
Crackers made with Carlshead pizza crust. Roll it really thin bake til it browns nicely then cut into cracker size pieces as soon as it comes out of the oven. They will crisp up really nice when cooled.
Here’s a link to the crust recipe if you don’t have it. Carlshead Crust,
Do you think this dip could be used as a sauce over chicken? Am always looking for ways to add new flavours to a meat base.
Quick clarification, please. Where the recipe says “pepper sauce”, does that mean chilli pepper? Or capsicum (red pepper)?
NOM NOM NOM!!!
I used the ranch recipe shared by @suzanna replacing the dill with parsley as I didn’t have any dill on hand, then followed the dip recipe you shared with the following exceptions:
- Halved the hot sauce quantity (I’m not great with really spicy food)
- Didn’t include the chicken (instead cooked chicken thighs separately [sous vide])
- Cooked the sauce on a stovetop instead of in an oven and poured over the chicken thighs
The only thing I would do differently next time is halve the recipe as there was a lot of sauce left over, despite serving up four meals.
I think I’ll make this and wings for the Super Bowl party. Even my non-Keto friends would eat it and love it.
