Weighed myself when I woke up.

Roasted 3 beef shank steaks all day. Ate quite a bit minus the bone and leftover weight pictured here.

Had a craving for salted raw porterhouse steak cubes. Only ate 4 oz of this.
Apparently 30 day steak challenges turn you into a zombie.

I find the craving for raw meat interesting. This happened the last time I ate ZC for 7 months. (ZC means zero plants)

Ate 4 oz roasted beef shank steak at 9 am.


Day 9 continued. 2:30 pm
Enjoyed 12 ounces raw sirloin at the grocery.

15.5 ounce ribeye.

Day 11.
About an hour later.
Wanted a bit more.
Grilled a 12.5 oz NY strip.
Gave 4 ounces of the lean away leaving a 8.5 oz piece of meat that was half fat. Ate only 6.5 ounces of that. Definately hit my satiety point and stopped. That makes 22 ounces total of much richer steak today, and as yesterday, a much more balanced ratio of fat to protein like I was aiming for.

Day 13
Hungry early at 11 am. Cut some lean off of half a sirloin and fried up a fatty 4.5 ounces of it.
5:30 pm. 12+ ounce ribeye, grilled rare.

Confession time.
I am not “sick of” steak, I am not growing to dislike it, but I REALLY MISS OTHER FOODS. LOL
Although I did a 7 month stint of animal products only in 2015(ZC), I was eating dairy and seafood and offal of course. I also did include a tiny bit of spices on occasion, and also ate a bit of non calorie sweeteners…

Never in my life have I eaten the same thing for so long. This is day 14 and I am getting positively AGITATED.

Beef steak.
Black coffee.

Eeeerrrrrrrgh!!!

Holy hell can I make it to April 1st???

…mind you, I am NOT hungry. I am not craving anything. My health is STELLAR.

Missing the flavors, the variety, I don’t know. Damn humans are spoiled. What if I were a hermit living in the middle of thousands of acres of forest, and all I had to eat were moose steaks? Would I go insane? No. Because I’D BE EATING THE OFFAL TOO!

This is inhuman torture! Lol
