Boron supplements. Should I be on them? Anyone tried them?

Been told that 4-6mg daily of boron will help my testosterone etc and help fitness etc.

What’s your take/experience?

Boron? As a supplement? I thought it was toxic, safe for eyewash but not for ingesting. Are you folks sure it’s safe?

I remember reading a science-fiction story years ago about people experiencing strange, deadly symptoms when they moved to settle on a particular planet, and the plot hinged on the ability of an autistic, or possibly idiot-savant kid to make the connection with the high amount of boron in the soil and the toxicity of boron when ingested. Even back when that story was written, there was concern that we were accumulating too much knowledge to keep it all integrated.

(Goodness! I haven’t thought of that story in years! I didn’t realize it had made such an impression. . . .)

Keep it to 20mg/day as the upper limit.

Keto tends to improve T with adequate protein. If I felt I needed more, selenium rich foods and a ZInc Magnesium B6 stack (ZMA… similar effect to T, without all the nasty stuff that comes with T, and better sleep).
