Bone broth sunday

my girls at work were super grossed out from the last batch…no idea why…“eeew how come it looks like jelly?!” cuz it’s cold and that’s what it do lol

soon they’ll be asking me how to make it
really can’t beat $6 worth of bones, 2 worth of veggies, and .15 worth of cheesecloth (i wrap carrot, celery, onion, and garlic in cheesecloth so i don’t have to play bobbing for vegetables to get my broth)

Bone broth for the win

My take on a bone broth soup - Helped with the wife’s cold. 32oz of bone broth 1 cup HWC 1 tbs lemon juice 1tsp xanthum gum ( or other thickener) 2 celery stalks diced 1 cup mushrooms diced 1 cup Brussel sprouts quartered 1 tsp salt 1 tbs pepper Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer for 7 min. Add 1/2 cup of parm. cheese Add 1 cup of bacon Add Salt and Pepper to taste Simmer for another 3 min. EAT EAT EAT
