Physical yesterday and the blood work is back. I had an NMR test but that isn’t back yet. I’ll post that when it comes back.
Here we go:
2014 data / Today’s data
Cholesterol: 192 / 246
Trig: 73 / 92
HDL: 73 / 64
LDL: 104 / 164
Non HDL Calculated. n/a / 182
Total Chol:HDL ratio: 2.6. / 3.8
CRP: n/a / 0.1
So, per Dr. Sinatra (Chol Myth) - I care about my trig to HDL ratio which two years ago was 1 and today is 1.4.
So 1.4 is my magic number, per this recent test. He says, in Cholesterol Code, “Those with high ratios have more of the BB gun pellet-type LDL (which is atherogenic), while those with low ratios have more of the cotton ball molecules (harmless).” So I guess my question is whether my 1.4 ratio is low.
Been kept for about 2 months. Lost 23 pounds. Feel amazing.
Thanks.
