Hi,

I am new here and also on my third day of the Keto. I feel you on the water as I am drinking lots of it…! I am doing about a gallon to a gallon +. I am also working out first thing in the morning.

The bathroom issue is all the water and the change in your eating as well as the increase in fat. From the many comments I have been reading from other people this is normal and it will get better… hang in there.

As for the cooking, I am doing most of it at night. I also have a child and may do some of it during homework or after she is down to sleep. Like with any meal plan, the first few days will be time consuming and annoying, but once you get the hang of it and remember what foods to eat and cook it will get better.

I am sure everyone will say … be patient… stay focused and don’t quit…! It will pay off. This is what I keep telling my self .!

This should pass, sorry you’re feeling uncomfortable. My first few days were awkward due to the abrupt change. Keep eating fat so your body gets the message!

Keeping your salt intake up should help. High carbohydrate intake causes us to retain water and sodium, and switching to a low-carbohydrate diet thus signals the kidneys to excrete both. On top of that, scientists are discovering that we actually need far more sodium than the daily recommendations advise.

Drink a cup of broth twice a day. It might also help to supplement with magnesium and potassium (or better yet, eat foods rich in those minerals).
