Anyone else?

so I have been IF on the weekends 2 weekends in a row, not even having BPC, just water, i eat one meal each night… so by Sunday night after I’ve eaten my meal, I’ve been getting diarrhea… first weekend this happened i thought it could just be a fluke, though it happened again last night… Both weeks have been different meals… I figure this should not be normal…

I find I have just the opposite happen when I am intermittent fasting, which I do regularly. If I do multiple days of 24 hour intermittent I am far from regular.

This happens for me too. It was very consistent when I started fasting years ago (pre-keto), and now happens more on extended fasts, but periodically appears for intermittent fasts. I’ve read plenty of links others posted in 2KetoDudes FB days that others experience this, and responses were more fluff than science, circling around gut-biome adjusting, electrolyte imbalance, sensitive system, etc… for me it is not electrolyte imbalance, so I accept when it appears it’s my system adjusting mechanically and/or biome wise. A few suggested adding fermented food when I was eating because “obviously” something is wrong and I needed better gut bugs. I’ve been eating natural unpasteurized sauerkraut and other fermeted food for 4-months since then without a change, I keep eating small quantities because I like it :sunglasses: and have made peace with my sensitive system.

For the first couple months of IF (16:8/18:6) I would experience that about 30-60 minutes after my fast breaking meal. I haven’t in quite some time, however.

So it sounds like a normal thing, I’ll see if it happens next weekend

So this weekend, same results, Sunday hit in the same fashion… could this be a part of autophagy?
