I have a cold or something. Alvaro has it over already, it happened to him right after his coworker next to him got Covid again (last time that coworker was sick for months, pneumonia… Alvaro and me had a few days with mild cold symptoms and he tested negative).
I will be fine in 1-2 days if I follow Alvaro’s timeline just like last time when I had less symptoms than him, now we had it similar, a whole bunch of things but nothing very serious except when I can’t stand NOT having warm liquid in my throat in the morning, that was annoying but it’s over for today.

Not much appetite or hunger today but it’s early now and my sleep is chaotic. Sleep always makes me satiated (unless I go to sleep hungry but I never do that). I tried to eat some meat but couldn’t do much. Later, I suppose. Of course I can drink my eggs, nice, warm liquid, mmm. No coffee ban for sick me.
I ate last night so I must be well fed now. Yesterday still was lower-cal than usual but not too much and I had good food.
I never have a sickness where I don’t eat or just barely, I think I mentioned, I need being unconscious/asleep a lot for that and I don’t have that anymore. I always need my food, in the hottest weather, not being well, always. Much protein, much fat. That’s my way.

Oh my, those prices, Fangs! :scream: For an appetizer? I don’t even had such restaurant visits (okay, it’s another continent and it was ages ago that I went to restaurants… even then, I didn’t like to do it often, I liked my own food just fine)…
Sometimes it’s fine to pay for the nice different atmosphere and whatnot, once I spent the whole siesta time in a Greek restaurant  I like to try out new things or eat dishes I definitely wouldn’t bother with (or I can’t get fresh raw salmon… Japanese restaurants always were pricy but it was fun sometimes).
But paying a lot for some appetizer one can make by themselves just fine…? Nope, I am totally with you, it just isn’t worth it.
And a wild Alvaro appeared and told me that many people have financial problems because they eat out all the time, unnecessarily.

On plan, off plan. Ugh. Baked beef rib tonight. On plan.

Like a rocking boat on rough sea.

Coffee. Then too much coffee.

Cold nights. 5’C. 12’C maximum day temperature. Need some sunny days. Or days in the sunshine. Too much indoors time.

Sore back. Sore hip. Sore ribs. Copping a buffeting working in the city.

Too much sitting. Too much standing. Too much walking. Not enough movement. Broken sleep.

Got to find calmer waters. Back to the countryside tomorrow.

Maybe a visit with the physiotherapist on Friday.

Writing it out. Reading it back. To make some adjustments.

Well, Kiddo passed her driving test, and off to work she drove herself this morning! YAY!!!

Hubby is getting a tooth pulled that’s been giving him troubles for a while now.

I had 2 eggs cooked in butter, melted a bit of cheese over the top. Think I need some bacon tho. Off to work for another afternoon shift, and I get my orthotic today for the footsie. Should help tremendously.

I need to do get on with a bit of house cleaning and check for eggs. Have a good one, all!

(Robin) #185

One of your best photos!

#186

oh sorry, I hope you do get over it soon but things do keep passing around from time to time and are just a pain til ya get over it

THAT’S what I say…a big scream cause to me that just is off the charts. I mean I have some bucks but darn ya know, I worked damn hard for those bucks in the bank, lol, and I hate to part with them so easily for so little.

THIS IS WHERE ya breath FB! You gotta find that little center that keeps you, well, centered and not continue to rock! It is hard, when one is in that ‘realm’ and ‘mood’ it is just what it is but you will pull out. But hold that plan and reason I say it is cause it is your rock center…keep zc as your center as best you can in that better health, feeling good and not eating junk that then makes ya feel a bit ickier actually does help us so you hang in there!!!

smart to write it out, read it back, realize ya need some adjustments…you do whatever it takes to do just that  wishing you the best!!

I bet you can’t wait to feel a bit better with that issue…hope your appt goes very well for ya!!

Super YAY for your kiddo and a’drivin’ she will go…so close to my kid doing it too, I can’t wait.

Teeth, ugh. getting one pulled ain’t bad, hope he does ok. hubby had his big molar in back crack…dentist said crown replace like 1800 or a buildup of the tooth since he could just do it, 350…hubby took the build up and tooth so far is doing well.

------------SO farmers market was fun. Kiddo got a nice ring made out of a fork, guy made jewelry out of spoons, forks and knives and I have to say, darn good work. Hubby got some ‘man-scaping’ products from a ‘all men’s bath and body’ shop. Kid got a very nice ‘‘too damn expensive’ for this ol’ gal’ leather tote bag to the tune of $125 but quality leather and real nice but she is paying me 1/2 for it. too rich for my blood, lol…got some nice spices from Nates’s BBQ…and me, I bought nothing. Nope. Not a darn thing I require   Kid got raw cookie dough crap to eat and hubby got sugar covered kettle corn…omg. ick.

out to dinner, off to check menu. got 2 places to choose, I am previewing both to make the menu fit ME ME ME…wee…

very hot, hitting 93 now, feels like 99 they said and yea it does, I LOVE IT!

I am tired and moody, my brain is useless, probably my disturbed sleep. But I am hopeful I will be much better tomorrow!
I couldn’t eat my meat. Or much of anything. My meals never were this tiny but I took some bites many times. Still drinking a ton. It’s good I had tongue as I always can eat that (it was 48g and took 2 tries… so pathetic).
Tomorrow I focus on protein first and second… I don’t feel comfortable with it being around 80g.

But my last weeks were better macro wise than the previous times. This leaner (but not too much) pork is great as a staple. And I lost interest in eggs, I just use them when it’s pretty much unavoidable. I have some broth and I made egg pudding I didn’t want afterwards. But it’s soft and lovely, so easy to eat so tomorrow I will eat at least half of it! Protein always adds up so very quickly, always but now. But it’s temporal and tomorrow I will work on it anyway  I am GOOD at eating not too little, too good, always were…

(Karen) #188

@SecondBreakfast well done to you daughter on 0assing her driving test, now for the worries of where is she is she driving carefully etc. Soon after my daughter passed her test (and she was a late learner so probably somewhat older than yourd) she called me up to tell me she had ran out of petrol … while crossing a railway line :astonished::astonished: fortunately she was on a slope downwards and managed to freewheel it off the tracks!!! She never ran out of petrol again !

@Fangs whatever you end up eating make the flippin most of it, I get you on not wanting to part with your money . I am very much the same… except when my son is paying as he has to spend his money as he can only have a certain amount of savings before it affects his disability benefits
My car was same temp as your day jwhen I left work … 36°c I Daren’t get a thermometer for my garden , I am sure iit would melt!

So i have eaten reheated cooked chick n butter for brunch at work. When I got home I cooked a sirloin which was really nice. I overcooked it on one side so didn’t cook the other side… may do that again in future, it was lovely, just salted it … no butter. Followed with 2 salted beef burgers, a plain duck egg omelette and bowl of anchovies. Finished off the small bit of cheddar that was left in fridge.

Knackered, virtually no sleep last night or at least what i did get was interspersed with too much wakefulness. Full super moon at the mo … doesn’t help

(Judy Thompson) #189

@Karen18 Beautiful pic of that supermoon! Wow. Sorry it disturbed your sleep. You’ll probably sleep like a log tonight after that! The bowl of anchovies - I have only ever seen anchovies canned, they’re interesting. Great idea to sear one side of the steak and not cook the other side. Sounds delish!
@Fangs the place we play in town on weekends is an upscale seafood place. Some people eat there more than twice a week, I have no idea how. An appetizer can be as much as $80, I have seen tables of 4 leaving the TIP as 3 hundred dollar bills! Of course that helps our tips too  But I’m with ya. Would rather make a lobster bisque than spend $30 on one! But like @Karen18 says - enjoy the heck out of it - it’s probably awesome food anyway!
@Shinita hope you feel better soon. People say “It’s only a cold” but there is nothing ONLY about a cold, it’s a miserable place to be. Soon though it will be over and you won’t even remember it
@FrankoBear Aww we’ve all been there, and you’ve been there before too. If you can ride out that rocky boat without doing too much damage you’ll thank yourself later and you’ll be right back here giving all the rest of us advice! Keep listening to podcasts, reading books, reaching out. We’re here for ya! Spring is just around the corner.
@SecondBreakfast Hope your food heals quick! My broken 5th metatarsal took forever and then wasn’t right even then, but yours will heal much more quickly, I know. Congrats on your kiddo’s license!

Yesterday I went into the back of the fridge and threw out old broths with ginger and stuff in them, and a whole rack of spices and herbs, and the fridge looks so much friendlier without them! Straightened up in the office this morning. This is a complicated room, Mom’s old room is now my office with instruments and music, and also my craft room on the other side, with Cricuts and sewing machine and lots and lots of supplies. Finally thought to whirl the workbench around leaving a bare wall under the big window, to put the 2nd desk chair and a little table for sitting. Still have 12 boxes of music to unpack in there! And eventually make Roman shades out of nice colors instead of the black “room darkening” (not) curtains Mom chose. I’ll shoot some pics on my phone and add them to this post. It’s nowhere near done but now at least there’s a concept! Hubby made shelves for everything so that’s helpful.
Had the egg at 10, just with salt, and halved a pound of grassfed burger for us at lunch. Melted cheese on mine. Perfect, and hit the spot. He said, is that all you’re eating? I pointed to all his plates and bowls of veggies and stuff and said, is that ALLL you’re eating?? Funny. I’ve only been about 8 months on zc and already I cannot imagine going back to that ever.

#190

You people are nice. Thank you for being so.

#191

Despite my off days and extras, I can relate so much. Plenty of items disappeared from my life due to lack of interest and I wonder about how I ate 5 years ago and it’s so, so far from me now. Surreal.
In the first… year? Me just trying out carnivore sometimes was surreal. Now my past became that.

I always felt that whenever I made a drastic woe change (I had a few. becoming a vegetarian was normal, nothing drastic but HC->LC->keto->carnivore-ish, well those were big changes), I got a translucent wall between me and my past. And my HC times are separated by 3 at this point and it was my own HC, better than many people’s nowadays. I ate plenty of protein and nutrients and little shop-bought treats, no soda etc. Little sugar too and it’s so odd as I ate plenty of sugar from my own viewpoint, especially now but the average person eat WAY more. How? That must be horrible… Don’t their instincts scream not to do it? Why not? I can imagine having a sugary day but proper food must come first and how to continue sugar eating even the next day? People are weird.

Alvaro eats a bunch of stuff so his plate seems okay for someone who thrives on high-carb. Fat, protein, nutrients from eggs and meat, starches and little sugar. He is a health-conscious one, he just have a body that works differently, apparently.

But when I see what some other people eat… That makes my brain stop a bit sometimes.
The most extreme for me is when they get satiated by a tiny bunch of carbs… Maybe that’s why sandwiches never made much sense to me and there are worse things for hungry me.

It seems I am still interested in food, it never changes. I just have problems with eating these days but today I will do a honest attempt to finish my meat I planned for yesterday!

#192

I will roll eyes with ya too on his disability policy issues. ugh.

Girl, you ate ALL those anchovies in that bowl? more power to you. I am a sardine fan so I get it but aren’t your anchoives very salty? or are they just a fresh fish without being changed in any way. I think those salty slivers of anchovies we have around here. just wondering. great pics!

woof…those are big scary prices, lol. I went to one big fancy like that when I was in Richmond VA. omg the prices. luckily my tip was only a 100 dollar bill on top of a hefty bill but ya know, to me this restaurant and bragging for how great it was…eh. Sad when a big bill is EH…wouldn’t go back, that is for sure.

but it is smart to work at higher end places. I would certainly want part of that 300 tip  told my kiddo you EVER gotta work service, you pick the most expensive restaurant and work there, you sling the same food on a plate but your tip is huge compared to slinging a $12 burger elsewhere

Very nice pics. You are doing a great job bringing your room along!!

We got your Carnivore back FB! You might be in that flux? and it screws up our eating plus you in that city vs. easy eating home life and then the zc food is harder to find, it isn’t as satisfying and you are caught…I had times like that, it stinks but you will figure it all out best ya can. Universe is saying rethink it all maybe? New path of some sort in life maybe? One never knows  Just do what ya gotta do to take care of you but hold that zc focus and rely on it. A good constant to make ya feel great and stable and set firm something is ok, feels calm, makes ya healthy and just go from there! More power to you!! Nice walk with Billie and Mrs. B and enjoying your beautiful location, yup, that will help ya :star_struck:

same here! so true for me too. so polar different food now. Never knew I would drop an entire plant based food intake back then. I am so happy how my eating has progressed. Nice to be in a stable eating lifestyle finally! Didn’t think about 5 yrs ago I would have that too

-----------------might get a small storm coming thru.
jelly sting leg is itching like crazy. annoying, time for this pain in the azz to go away! hobble knee is bit better so happy on that.

walked dog and goofing off a bit. taking morning easy peasy here.
swim later tho…last day here, leave tomorrow so I must hit up the beach.

Only 1 turtle nest erupted and that was 2 nights ago we found out but missed it darn it. So far no others are ready to go except maybe 1 according to the Turtle Watch crew. oh well, might see 1, might not.

Eating out I got the lowest they had on the menu that suited zc.
Meal was 8 oz grill chick breast, with bbq sauce, bacon, cheese and mushrooms over rice. Yea, you know what I got…grilled plain chick breast, no bbq sauce, bacon and melted cheddar. So plain but ya know what guys…it was darn good! I ate a few scallops kiddo didn’t eat on her plate, she got scallop alfredo…scallop and alfredo sauce were yummy.

today is big ol ribeyes on the grill and eating leftover pork loin.

Soldier on strong guys!!

#193

Me too…

And you guys mention sardines so often that in the end I will feel tempted to try it again… I never liked it. But wait, it’s all sunflower/rapeseed oil for sardines… Or maybe things changed in the last years? Who knows? I will check. It’s cheap and well, edible and has nutrients, it’s different… And I actually thought about eating more fish lately, I just have this price and availability and taste problems… And the oil/sauce problem. It’s so hard to find that is right and for my tiny occasional fish price isn’t THAT important (I mean, it doesn’t need to be actually cheap, that is for my staples. I still wouldn’t pay too much, I could buy beef with that money and beef is substantial and tasty).

It was ages ago and we live in another world and on another continent but we probably left like $1 as a tip when we visited restaurants…? Well more considering the time difference but still.
$100 was way less than what we ever spent in a restaurant… Alvaro works almost for a week for that money and I pay for my monthly food with that much… I consider a restaurant main dish for $10 somewhat pricy… Maybe not if it’s a substantial main meat dish but with this huge inflation and me not visiting restaurants since many years I am a bit lost.

But if we visited the steak house and I considered eating the big, 600g steak with eggs and bacon, that would be $36. That’s super much (the price. possibly the meat too, it totally depends on my actual state) so I probably would eat a smaller steak with bacon and eggs, that’s less than $20. And that would be it and something similar for Alvaro.
But it is a super expensive meal for us so we postponed it. We are fine with our cheaper food.

Okay, the Japanese restaurants were more expensive when we ate whatever  Oh that was fun. And I couldn’t do the same at home, lacked the variety and freshness of the fish.
Alvaro visited a Japanese restaurant every day when he worked in China. They all got their salaries (way higher than his current one) double, one for the costs. And eating in China costed about nothing normally. His dinner (Japanese restaurant) was 100 times as expensive as his lunch (some eatery for workers, substantial but common). Well he drank sake too but everything else was pricy as well. He had fun. That was new and in a good atmosphere and he had the money to spend so it was worth it.

The steak house probably would have worth it as I am doubtful if I could do an even remotely proper steak. I would like to know what a good one is like. And after all these years, sitting in a restaurant… That would be nice.

But going to restaurants all the time, eating food I could make the same or rather better as I don’t add unnecessary stuff? That totally wouldn’t worth it for me, no matter my financial situation. I got bored of that in my past if I did it too often. And I never did it super often but a few times a year was more than enough for me.

Today I just eat all day again. Whenever I feel able to, I have some meat (or eggs but we still have a serious lack of them. it’s fine, still more than what I feel like to eat). It goes super slow but I have time.

I had some a bit carbier sick days (stupid remedy didn’t help, only was nice while drinking it, warm soup, mmm… and I didn’t say no to some fruit, it’s end of season. but I still am not as interested as last time… I keep changing with every year and season) and I totally had enough. It’s so cool, my mental whatever (so hard to write, today my brain is worse than normal) has enough WAY earlier than my body. I don’t feel anything bad physically yet when I just feel the desire to go stricter.
I am looking forward to some really pure carni now. I had enough of the (before) very valid excuses as they happen way too often to my liking now… I surely will have something non-carnivore at relatives or in my fruit seasons but very rarely and subtly as I prefer my normal food.

But I have no idea what would happen longer term. That comes next, to figure it out.

And I try not to come when I don’t even do actual carnivore. Or something very, very close to it. I won’t give up the right for my tiny extras even if they definitely diminish as time passes. Especially in winter I imagine. Winter is easier for carnivore, except maybe mid-December…

The first half of August wasn’t an easy time after all (so it didn’t happen to stick to carni but I didn’t do too bad), being sick didn’t help either but mid August to mid October sounds a good time period. We will see.

(Judy Thompson) #194

Lastnight we played at the roadhouse. I did have an IPA but waited til the last set, and it was so yummy. Then back at home, I got out the last flank steak and ate it cold - sous vided 2 days and it was SO tender and good with gooey gel all on the outside. I didn’t quite finish it so I can look forward to the rest tonight. And at 3 big steaks for $11 with just the price of the 2 day cook added, I’ll buy several trays of it today!

#195

well for me I go sardines packed in water but if I can not get them, I eat sardines in some oil. I read it once, I think olive oil or some ‘good oil they claim’ but I do well on those too so I can say, any sardine in a can I desire I do well on so for me they are ‘like dessert’ sometimes. I just ‘crave the heck outta sardines’ in a week and then leave them and don’t care and boom, I want them, eat what is on sale and I do like and I am kinda fine in that food group  Body says eat this fish and I do  So yea girl, go get some sardines and see how you do on them…if anything you buy sets well with you, you got it made in the shade. A sprinkle of some ‘ick oil’ means nothing compared to the good you get from those sardines…again, as long as you do good on them and enjoy!!!

Yea money costs due to country and area ARE SO VARIED it is wild. On what I spend on a meal is A’s income but like you said, your costs are way lower so it pans out but darn, everything IS rising so we all best be smart with our bucks. ugh. I do enjoy reading your posts cause they are so opposite of my financial hits where I live :sunny:

and that is a big key to survival on zc for combatting prices!!! you stock up gal!

------------------and this is what irks me…my pic, ribeyes on sale…2.2 lbs for $17 down from $26 and KEY BEING I get to cook them MY way…I get to not pay $40 something for an 8 oz and get double the meat intake…while I get eating out if fun and all when I see this big diff. I gotta pull in the carnivore reins and say, eat at home stupid, save a crapload of money HAHA

Back in the day me and hubby eating out was entertainment and hubby still feels that while I do not feel it anymore so we walk ‘that fine line of stupid compromise’ one has to being married but in the end, I am changing him more way a tad, well, just a tad but hey, I feel empowered saying ‘food never has to be the end all to entertainment’ in our lives and I think more and more over the years I am getting MY point across.

interesting truly how life progresses on our spouses and how they deal and change thru us  I know I am doing better for him point blank and he feels eating at home is better, but yup, when the fried fish and huspuppies and more crap calls it is tight to rein him in

but he said from his ‘fried seafood plate’ last night he tasted ‘thicky like icky oil’ in his meal so I consider that a big win to me for him to realize, yea that is crap but we shall see how life progresses in the future with him.

Off to swim in a bit cause big sun hit! Wish me luck no jellys lol

image000000%20(11)

and this is what I mean. 2—1 lb’ers for this price vs. a smaller cut for $40…sorry but in the end I am seeing a big reality here but I know thru the ‘eating out for enjoyment’ vs. the eating out and paying big bucks for less and a real deal issue for me now and these will defrost by tonight and I will be in my glory eating one…I mean, $9 for a 1 lb’er vs. $40 or more for a smaller size, no brainer here for me folks.

ZC is showing me big clarity :100: on some big financials definitely!

(Karen) #196

The anchovies are from Lidls. Those were the Greek ones. They are packed sealed in like a plastic tray with clear film sealing it. Comes in oil and vinegar but I drain all that off so whats left is just a smitheting left on the fish.not at all salty, you must be thinking of those anchovies they chuck on top of pizza, now they are very salty. I chucked about a fifth of that bowl away as I just couldn’t manage them all. Had a different pack this evening and they are actually nicer, still bought from lidl but in a smaller pack. Quite expensive though so just a bit of a treat.

#197

When I bought some other fish in oil, that was a TON of oil :frowning: I hate throwing out things so I used it for stuff (probably someone ate it between us and the cats, SUPER slowly, it was tiresome. I even need to use dish soup - and I very rarely do that as it’s not needed normally - when I wash the tin as I definitely don’t throw out the tin into normal garbage, it’s doubtful how good selective garbage collection and reusing works in general but it’s way better with iron, even Alvaro can take it away as there is iron collection at his workplace)…
I don’t worry about a tad of oil but it’s really too much in fish :frowning: And only tuna comes in brine here :frowning:

But I definitely will check it tomorrow, now it’s decided, tomorrow we go to the city!
I feel better and I totally decided to heal now. Okay, I tried before too but I am more determined now and we shouldn’t underestimate my real determination. It’s rare but effective.

Alvaro said he couldn’t enter a restaurant with $80 appetizers as he doesn’t own a fancy enough suit for that  (Though I am sure the world is full with restaurants without some fancy dress code but with high prices. We always visited some cute places, usually in rural areas as we loved to visit those and it’s Hungary… So they never were THAT fancy.)

I will check the prices here but it seems you have better prices there. But beef is popular there while not so much here, we have pork. Cheap pork. 2 of my 3 favs are the cheapest of them all. Yum. I should enjoy it until the prices are like this, the price cap will be lifted, corn crops are miserable, the war will do who knows what… Well I suppose I will keep eating meat, in the worst case I will pair it up with seitan  Okay, let’s not joke with that. But I have plan B and C and everything, I am determined to eat and not even get carb poisoned.
But pork prices will raise, it’s ridiculous how very cheap they are and no changes since years regarding the cheapest items… Even the rest went up only a little, WAY below the enormous inflation. I think it’s 30% on average for a year? And around 100% for many items… Like chicken thigh. But it’s very little for my pork. Even beef didn’t went up sooo much. Chicken is the “winner”. Turkey is fine. IDK why but it is. Chicken frame costs nearly nothing but it is a traditionally dirt cheap item and it got its price cap.

No wonder. As I wrote, $36 is for a 21.4oz piece with side dishes here  And hopefully professionally down and atmosphere and everything! While buying beef in a shop probably costs more here.

We talked about the steakhouse again and I asked Alvaro and he is pretty sure I really never had a steak (I don’t consider my fried meat pieces where I had zero idea what I was doing steaks)… My memory isn’t the best and he was there almost always when I ate in a restaurant. I postponed the steakhouse visit plan for this last birthday of mine but we probably should do it in the next several months, I got curious again. And it’s not like we would actually feel the cost, we have zillion times bigger savings, it’s just not what we normally do (hence we have those savings). We focus on necessities nowadays. And it never felt one. I am slightly interested but I really can wait…

(Edith) #198

Ya know? As a mom who frequently puts others before herself, I think this is great! You go girl!!!

(Karen) #199

Early start for work and another hot heatwave day and car temp 36 when I came out of work at 2pm.
Pretty relaxed day again, no pressure which suits me fine st the mo. Brunch was the usual chicken, which reminds me while I am lying on my bed with fan on, I forgot to take tomorrow’s scrum out of freezer.! Best go do it now😉 right thats done plus brought my bottle of water up that I also forgot!

Dinner was a rump steak which I cooked very similar to the sirloin yesterday and it was tender and tasty. Followed it with 2 beef burgers and bowl of anchovies.

Our local fishmongers often sells fresh sardines they look bigger than the canned we also get sprats which are similar.

Slept a little better though first part of night was quite wakeful. I took a couple of herbal sleepers and they kicked in eventually. Taken 2 more tonight, not messing around in the stifling heat. Plants aren’t happy with the heat either, I was so tired yesterday when i got home from work that I didn’t have any energy or enthusiasm to water them … I think I may lose a few from that. They were looking very parched tonight. needless to say I have given them a good dousing. We have cooler weather due from Monday back down to low 20’s and rain forecast soon too yay. I can cope with the heat if I aclimatise during day but to go to work in a cool 14° at 6.39am and come out at 2pm to a 36° car not so good.

#200

Rump steak cooked to perfection :ok_hand:

#201

Tinned sprats are the other cheap thing, I don’t even know the difference between them and sardines. Both are tiny cheap fish I don’t like particularly much and comes in oil. But I will check it out. I look at fish photos and wanna eat fish now… (Not exactly now just nowadays. SOON.)

By the way, I will stop eating all day now, I managed maybe 1800 kcal today (in several meals), my usual high protein and everything (I finished the planned meat and more and had eggs and more cheese than usual). I feel more alive too and walked (wasn’t so great, the air was humid but it was nice to look at the swans and the pond that still has so much water… though it lost a lot. the corn fields are pathetic, the plants are often too small and very, very dry. it’s not nice to make fancy breeds without giving the plants the water they need. but the weather was different in the past. it’s really time to do something with the water that arrives in more and more crazy patterns. it won’t give us rain at the right time and frequency even if the yearly precipitation is the usual).
