Hi. I’m new to this group but I’ve been a regular stalker. I’m 8 weeks in and going strong. I’ve never run across a comment about how “Keto flu” will hit you many times as you are becoming fat adapted. I know I’m not completely fat adapted due to this. I still have much to learn.

Keto flu can happen at any time for someone who is low carb if they aren’t managing electrolytes and hydration. Whether they are fat adapted, 20 years keto, or just general low carb. Do a forum search for ketoaide and try it out. It’ll be your friend for keto flu.

Thank you

Ha, ha. I’ve seen you around!

If you are changing your eating behaviours slowly you may never have keto flu. I was relatively low carb before going completely keto and I never had keto flu. It’s been 3 months now and I’m seeing the benefits of keto and in nutritional ketosis consistently by blood testing so I feel I am fat adapted by now

I am definitely feeling the benefits and love them. Your body will be ready when it’s ready. KCKO

Question, I am almost 3 weeks in and have been feeling great!!! But yesterday and today I have little energy, very tired esp in afternoons. Plus I lost weight 1st week but nothing since! Any suggestions?

Anyone low carb or keto can get “keto flu” at any time. Some people never get it, some people get it 2 years later randomly, some people get it the first day. It’s generally about electrolytes. Some people have no problem getting them from food and other easy sources without thinking, some people have to actively manage them.
