I haven’t seen this used anywhere so I tried it on a whim and it worked wonderfully! I make my hamburger as I always do but instead of bread I use two large raw portobella mushrooms! Only 1 or 2 incidental carbs and tastes great! I like the way the mushroom kind of “snaps” when I bite into it.
Alternative to hamburger buns!

That sounds wonderful but I think I’d like to sauttee them in a knob of butter first. And maybe some bacon…and a slice of cheese… and…

Maybe the best thing about going raw is that you can hold it in your hand instead of using a fork.

I shall give it a go but will have the frying pan handy just in case. May involve a bit of butter dribble but I can cope with that.
