Almond Flour Bread leavening and eggs

Hey guys,
I was able to get a very fine almond powder by grinding it with a bread roller…:smiley:

Two questions:
Can I leaven it using yeast or do I have to use baking soda ?
Also, what is the purpose of the eggs they keep mentionning in recipes ? Is it for flavour or cohesiveness?
