Accidentally had two mints

Been doing keto 9 days now, never felt so good before! Today we had a staff day, which is basically a huge meeting and every table had mints. Without thinking, I had two of them before realizing what i was doing :tired_face:.

I just got home from the meeting and went on my fitness pal to find out one mint had 19g carbs! Does this mean those 9 days have just gone down the drain and I have to start over? Should I fast for 9 months?! Sounds so silly over two tiny stupid mints but i guess what has really got me angry is how easy it was to eat them without even thinking about it! Damn mints are the devil!

Rookie mistake many of us have made. No, you haven’t ruined all your hard work. Just climb back in the horse and Keto on.

Careful as having sweets/carbs can trigger cravings again.

You’re fine. Forget it happened. Just don’t make a habit of eating them in the future.

I think we’ve all done this with one thing or another. Whatever effects it had will be gone in a day or two, just get back on the keto horse and KCKO.

19gmx2=38 gm x4= 152 kCalories / 9 = 17 gm of fat
At 2000 cals/day, will burn off in under 2 hours
