Here is my latest invention, a breadless salami / cheese sandwich. It has all the other ingredients including butter. With some buttered, creamy coffee it is a nice start for the day. Keeps hunger away, too.
A Breadless Breakfast Sandwich
Good for you! A good invention like this can be very precious! IDK what I would do without my own ones.
It was a glorious day when I realized that the only sandwich I like gets WAY better if I just skip bread… It is a warm sandwich, a fresh poached egg with plenty grated cheese and pickle slices and I used some condiments too.
I could use my carnivore “bread” (it’s a minimal sponge cake, 100% egg) but there is no need for this one. But for others? I finally can eat sandwiches and enjoy them, among other advantages (nutrition, satiation, satisfaction. enjoying something doesn’t mean I am satisfied when I stop, I had that problem with carby things quite often).
You have a tiny breakfast! It’s interesting to see what works for others. (Mine is tinier but it’s not tiny, it’s nothing.)
If I sleep longer I often have no need for breakfast. So this becomes lunch. Keeps hunger away for hours, it is surprising what a little amount of good fats can do,isn`t it?
Fat usually can’t satiate me, I need a lot of protein too (some protein sources work better than others)! But my first meal is quite late if I manage to wait for hunger. If I happen to eat unusually early, I need much less but get hungry very soon afterwards. If I eat later, I often can do an OMAD sized meal without much carbs and that’s nice.
So if this becomes your lunch, you eat a big dinner? (If my first meal is dinner and it’s too small, I have a second and sometimes third dinner so I can imagine other options…)
Yes. Big in fat,especially.
I´m a Natural Evening Eater. Long time ago I did well following the so called “Warrior Diet” which was basically water only during the day, then a big meal in the evening. I functioned very well, energetic days. I remember eating 3000-4000 kcal per dinner and lost weight. I tracked my calories more back then, early 2000.
Yeah I mostly mean the macros when talking about big as volume/weight matters little to me, my satiation cares about macros and my actual food choices.
I’m a natural afternoon/evening eater Trying to shift it into evening only (but if I get really hungry, I eat earlier, I am flexible enough).
