Hello everyone! i’m relatively new to the keto diet, I was curious to know if i eat to satiety while keeping my macros appropriate, how i can stop weight loss? I originally began this diet due to learning i’ve been living with Celiac for many years. Upon ceasing ingesting gluten i started to fast realize i had many food allergies that i never knew i had. which lead me to giving up on grains altogether, that eventually lead me to HFLC dieting. I have been slightly overweight most of my life but not too disproportionately to the point that i NEEDED to lose weight. i find the foods i eat are so filling, within the specific macros, that i cannot hit 2000+ calories without force feeding. I don’t want to end up skin and bones haha!

If you are already at a healthy weight, a ketogenic diet is not going to make you lose weight. The people who lose weight in ketosis are those who have excess fat to lose. Don’t try to force yourself to a pre-determined calorie intake; let your body tell you when you’ve given it enough. Believe me, the body doesn’t give up its fat store easily, unless it is in a position of abundance and it has excess fat to burn. If you are already at a healthy fat percentage, you are not going to lose weight by eating keto.

Like @PaulL said, side effects of Keto are fat burning and muscle sparing (among tons of others). When your body decides it’s lost enough fat it’s going to stop. You won’t get to skin and bones eating HFLC, you’ll only become a lean mean Keto machine.

Welcome to the Ketogentic Forum! Saw you are new to the forum, me too. I just joined yesterday. Noted we both discovered food allergies we didn’t know we had… Wondered are you using an app or something to track your nutrition/calories?
